Modifications of the ZX-100EL 55/63 – a new type of thermoplastic elastomer, based on polyester. Modified ZX-100ELs, as thermoplastics do not require vulcanization to obtain optimal characteristics.

ZX-100EL was created to be used in the rubber and plastics industry and it helps to combine the wear resistance of the treated elastomer.

ZX-100EL has the average hardness in the range of 55 to 63 according to the Shore scale (D), whereby it is possible to achieve a favourable balance between chemical resistance and mechanical characteristics. ZX-100EL has a sufficiently high elasticity, impact resistance, abrasion resistance, tensile strength and burst resistance in a wide temperature range. The mechanical properties of the ZX-100EL remain at a relatively low temperature.

ZX-100EL is quite resistant to interaction with conventional chemicals: solutions of mineral acids and alkalis with weaker than average concentration of oils, organic solvents and hydraulic fluid.
